Brooke Knaack, LMFT ATR is a licensed marriage and family therapist and registered art therapist. She also has extensive training in somatic based approaches used to help resolve trauma and improve emotional wellness. In ten years of experience, Brooke has realized the joy of helping individuals find their creative paths and reach their full potential. Brooke believes a compassionate connection with oneself is fundamental to our well-being and that, by having a good relationship with oneself, one is able to have better relationships with others. “I help my clients move past self-doubt and reconnect with their innate creative power in order to increase confidence and unapologetically love themselves. Michael Cowen (he/him/his) – Having mercifully left the proverbial stiff upper-lip behind but brought his accent with him, Michael originally hails from the UK, where he spent most of the last 20 years working as both a creative and an executive in the film industry. Informed by extensive social justice-led training at Southern California Counseling Center, Michael’s practice is grounded in a relational, strengths-based, trauma-focused approach to help create an affirming space where the parts of us expressing hope, playfulness and creativity can reemerge and healing can begin. Michael is an EMDR-trained practitioner who is passionate about working with adults, couples and teens coping with concerns relating to trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, self-esteem, sex and sexuality, gender dynamics, acculturation, and creative blocks.  Sessions are offered either in-person (Pasadena) or via telehealth.

Connor Kelly-Eiding

Connor Kelly-Eiding (she/her/hers) is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in Pasadena, offering both in-person sessions and virtual sessions via telehealth. She received her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, with a specialization in psychological trauma and did her clinical training at Counseling West. Connor works with adult individuals and couples, often around issues related to anxiety, trauma, relational functioning, gender and sexuality, and life transitions.

April Lamb (she/her/hers) is inspired by the uniquely creative way that each human learns to survive. She provides therapy for individuals and adolescents who seek a deeper understanding of themselves, their relationships, and overarching context in order to create a healing narrative that allows for change and growth. April is an EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) practitioner and works through a trauma-focused and family systems lens.

April received her master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles and her undergraduate from the College of Motion Pictures Arts at Florida State University.

Sam Polansky (she/her/hers) is a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in Los Angeles, CA. Karinne Robbins

Karinne Robbins (they/them/their) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in the Pasadena area of Los Angeles, CA. After receiving their BA in Psychology at Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, Karinne came back to their hometown of Los Angeles, CA where they received their MA in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and trained at Southern California Counseling Center. Carter Wilkes (he/him/his) was born and raised in the great city of Los Angeles. Through that journey, he was met with life’s unpredictable challenges and struggled with those challenges. He discovered new fears that he had never recognized before, he felt disconnected, and realized he needed support. This was where he started his own journey in therapy, which led him to a lifelong passion and a career for supporting others as he was once supported.
